A day in your life
Documentary family photography
A day full of little things.
A story that’s yours.
From waking up to bedtime
I spend a whole day with your family, with no fixed limit on hours. You go about your day; I photograph what happens between you. Here’s how it works, what’s included and what it costs.
Your everyday life tells the story
Breakfast, playing, shopping or visiting the grandparents. A day out or a day at home. Quiet breaks, bad moods and a messy children’s room are all part of family life too.
The way you are together at breakfast is different from an afternoon of playing or a bedtime story. That’s why I take a whole day. I pay attention to what’s happening as a family and to each child: those right in the middle of things, and those who prefer to do their own thing.

The little things that are part of you

What a day with me looks like
01 · Getting to know each other the day before
I visit you the day before. We talk, and your children have a chance to get to know me too. We discuss what matters to you and what everyone feels comfortable with.
02 · Going about your day
By the next morning, I’m already a familiar face. I stay with you from waking up to bedtime and follow your family’s rhythm. There’s no need to plan anything special for me.
03 · Your family story in photographs
I carefully select your photographs and edit them in my style. You’ll receive your finished family documentary and slideshow within two weeks of your day. Your photographs will be in a private online gallery. You’ll also receive a slideshow of selected photographs from the day, set to music, to watch together and revisit it all.

Any questions?
What if our children don’t want to be photographed?
Your children don’t have to perform or look at the camera. I photograph whatever they choose to do. For the shorter session, we take some time at the start to get to know each other.
Do we need to prepare anything?
Wear what feels comfortable. Leave your home as you live in it. There’s no need to tidy up or arrange anything for me.
Will our photographs be published?
Booking does not mean agreeing to have your photographs published. If I’d like to show any pictures, I’ll ask for your permission separately.
Tell me about yourselves: who’s in your family, and what part of your everyday life would you like to look back on?
You don’t need a date in mind yet. I’ll reply personally to your message. We’ll talk about your ideas, answer your questions and work out together which session suits you.
I live in Dresden and photograph families throughout Germany and Austria. The stories that interest me aren’t tied to any one place.
Now taking enquiries for family documentaries in 2027 – in Dresden and beyond.
I look forward to meeting you.
